Check that the displayed three-character calibration code (e.g. Ketone, Code=H58 ) matches the calibration code on calibrator, ketone test strip insert, and foil ketone test strip package. |

*Normally, levels of b-OHB are expected to be less than 0.6 mmol/l. If your b -Ketone test result is between 0.6 and 1.5 mmol/l and your blood glucose is 300 mg/dl (16.7 mmol/l) or greater, this may indicate development of a problem that may require medical assistance. Call your healthcare professional and follow his or her instructions for sick day management. If your b -ketone test result remains elevated or becomes greater than 1.5 mmol/l and your blood glucose is 300 mg/dl (16.7 mmol/l) or greater, call your healthcare professional immediately for advice. You may be at risk of developing diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
