Klacid - IV

Klacid IV is the internationally recommended first line treatment in respiratory tract infections. It is recommended by the American Thoracis Society (ATS), Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) and U.S. Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Most patients on Klacid IV feel better within 2 days of treatment & it offers wide coverage against most respiratory pathogens including gram+ve, gram-ve and atypical pathogens.

Presentation and Composition :
Vial containing Clarithromycin 500mg lyophilized powder and lactobionic acid as a solubilizing agent. To be reconstituted with sterile water for injection prior to use.

Indications
LRTI, URTI and skin and soft tissue infections. Disseminated or localized mycobacterial infections due to Mycobacterium avium or Mycobacterium intracellulare. Localized infections due to Mycobacterium chelonae, Mycobacterium fortuitum or Mycobacterium kansasii.
