Eptoin Injection

The No 1 antiepileptic for prompt seizure control.

Presentation and Composition :
Phenytoin sodium solution in 2 ml ampoules.
Each ml of Eptoin injection contains :

Phenytoin Sodium I.P. : 50 mg
Water for injection I.P. : q.s.
Contains Ethyl alcohol : 9.5% v/v

Indications :
It is indicated for the management of acute seizures such as acute tonic-clonic seizures acute complex partial seizures, status epilepticus, post traumatic seizures, post stroke seizures, eclamptic and pre-eclamptic seizures, prophylaxis during neurosurgery and for the management of cardiac arrhythmias.
