Epilex Chrono

Epilex Chrono 200, 300, and 500 is presented in strip of 10 tablets: Each of the controlled release tablet contains sodium valproate and valproic acid in molecular proportion of 2:1. The precise composition of each is given below.

Epilex
Epilex 200 - Strip of 10 tablets: Each enteric coated tablet contains Sodium valporate 200 mg.
Epilex 500 - Strip of 10 tablets: Each enteric coated tablet contains Sodium valporate 500 mg.

Indications :
Epilex Chrono is also indicated for the treatment of manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder. Epilex Chrono is also indicated for prohylaxis of migraine headache.

Epilex Chrono is indicated in the treatment of generalized, partial and other mixed epilepsies, for example : tonic clonic (grand mal), absence (petit mal), complex partial seizure (temporal lobe epilepsy) and mixed epilepsies.

Epilex Syrup :
Presentation and Composition :
Epilex Syrup is presented as a bottle of 100 ml. Each 5 ml contains Sodium valporate IP 200 mg in a flavoured syrup base.

Indications :
Epilex Syrup is indicated in pediatric epilepsies like partial, generalized, absence and febrile convulsions.
