The colon-specific laxative in acute constipation.

Various stimulant laxatives like biscodyl and senna cause abdominal pain, watery stools and loss of electrolytes. Cremalax, being colon-specific does not cause such problems and is effective, safe and well tolerated.

Presentation and Composition :
Cremalax Tablets: Blister strip of 10 tablets.
Cremalax tablet is presented as a slightly off-white uncoated tablet.
Each uncoated tablet contains:
Sodium picosulphate B.P. : 10 mg

Indications :
Sodium picosulphate is indicated for the treatment of constipation e.g. in patients with cardiovascular disease, hernia and anorectal disorders, the elderly and post-operatively. It is also indicated for bowel clearance before radiography, endoscopy, labour or surgery.
